TEXAS are back to G-A-Y Club in London for a EUROPRIDE Special. The gig will be after their performance on Hyde Park Calling Festival.

This summer Texas will be on several festvals in UK, France, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland :D and of course UK Tour 2006! For sure will be more dates of gigs as in the last year.

'What About Us' won't release as official 4th single.

Only was release UK promo with three remixes which is available on Ebay. Remixes are by Jacques Lu Cont (aka Stuart Price). He remixed for Madonna, The Killers, Placebo, Beck, Missy Elliot, Gwen Stefani, Goldfrapp, Electric 6, Depeche Mode & Scissor Sisters.

Remix What About Us Jacques Lu Cont (Edit Mix) is played in European radio stations. Also What About Us appeard on 24th place of službena inozemna top lista in Croatian Otvoreni Radio.

UK Tour Started!

Texas played already two concerts in Glasgow and Manchester.

In Glaswegian venue, SECC, they performed 18 songs. Setlist include old classic hits as well as new ones, so fans can heard songs like: I Don't Want A Lover, Getaway, Can't Resist, Summer Son, Black Eyed Boy, In Our Lifetime and recent released single Sleep and forthcoming - What About Us (special version with guitars!).

This evening not only Sharleen sang...band keyboard players - Eddie and Michael had their own five minutes. Eddie sang David Bowie 'Oh! You Pretty Things', and Michael, his idol, Elton John 'Your Song'.

As a surprise was fragment of So Called Friend and only for that show cover 'Crazy' of Gnarls Barkley!.

They encored two times. First (when Sharleen appeared in white uniform, the same from 'Sleep' clip) was Sleep and In Demand and second of course (as always) Say What You Want.

Throughout the concert was many special effects like: telebim with light effects, bubbles, confettis, white smoke.

'Your Child' Exhibition

From 19th to 28th May at the Proud Gallery in Camden, London will be organized exhibition of photography 'Your Child' featuring the work of acclaimed rock photographer, Scarlet Page. This exhibition is organized for the charity War Child.
On one from the photos will see Sharleen with her daughter Misty (<-- photo on the left). To the action joined also such stars as Sadie Frost, Brian Molko, KT Tunstall, Fran Healy, Mary McCartney and Jimmy Page.

Texas with orchestra

This autumn Texas will perform at the 'Night Of The Proms' in Belgian 'Antwerp Sportpaleis'. Sharleen and Michael will perform Texas hits with 'Il Novecento' orchestra.
Concerts will last from 20th October to 4th November.
