New Single And New Album in June !!

The release date for the new Texas album has been rescheduled to June. There's still no title known. So far the single will be out in June also, that means we will probably start to hear it late April. The single is called "Get Away", a song Shar and Johnny wrote themselves and which was mixed by Mike Hedges who also did "Halo". On the album the band have worked with Dallas Austin, Brian Higgins and also with their friend Bobby Bluebell again.

We know Dallas Austin from "In Demand" and "Superwrong" and his work with artists like TLC. Brian Higgins wrote superhits for bands like Girls Aloud and The Sugababes and Bobby Bluebell ... well, we hope you remember songs like "Black Eyed Boy" and "Put Your Arms Around Me", so what can go wrong?

There is a new member Michael Bannister who has played drums, some keyboards and engineered part of the album. Michael will play Rhodes piano next to Eddie on the upcoming tour and will also do live backing vocals. Michael was a member of Astrid, the band of which also Neil Payne once was a member of. He co-engineered albums for artists like Belle and Sebastian and Mogwai, both also Glaswegian bands
